The Process

The process starts in the wild — flea markets, garage sales, antique malls, eBay deep dives. I’m after anything with strong, classic design: old albums, catalogs, toy packaging, vintage ads, forgotten books. These aren’t just artifacts — they’re raw materials begging to be remixed.

Beyond the physical, we also mine the web. The deeper, dustier, and less indexed the better. We pull from dead forums, scans, databases, and broken sites — the digital equivalent of a thrift store bin — to find the best source material from days gone by.

When it’s time to show, we go physical. Sometimes it’s high-res prints on canvas or paper. Other times it’s mixed media chaos — resin, papier-mâché, cutouts, glue, tape, and trash. You name it, we've probably tried to repurpose it for the sake of "art".

We've been collecting for decades. What started as nostalgia turned into an obsessive archive: shelves of shitty old magazines, obscure design manuals, promo kits, and ephemera you won’t find on Google. It’s our personal time machine — and a core part of how the sausage gets made (gross). 

Once I’ve got the source, it gets torn apart. We scan, photograph, and digitize everything... then rip it to shreds in Photoshop. We will layer, distort, and collage, often bringing in hand-drawn elements or repurposing our own past work. 

We've been at this for nearly a decade. No shortcuts, no magic moments — just years of collecting, making, editing, posting, and repeating. We've built this thing piece by piece, curating the feed, showing in galleries, and filling walls with work that speaks for itself. We will keep going until we drop dead.
